Catherine Spradlin

Operations Manager

Catherine is responsible for the operational efficiencies of the Bronte business model and brings over 11 years experience in business operations. She manages a full range of administrative, logistical and operational duties in a wide variety of program areas including information technology, marketing, finance, property management, procurement and quality control.

Prior to joining Bronte she worked in the business services and information technology industries in the US and was the recipient of various corporate awards and recognition during that time. Catherine has a passion for helping others and spends her time outside of work volunteering with churches and local organisations.

Stefan Cohen

Director

Stefan joined Bronte to further grow and develop the brand and to provide key market and operational strategy to the company’s various projects. He brings to the team over 12 years of operational and business management experience, previously being co-owner and director of a successful Cayman based recruitment, immigration and human resources firm.

Stefan is an effective driver of strategic partnerships, he is a natural connecter who works to be a bridge across multiple sectors while combining his values and strong work ethic to deliver Bronte’s strategic objectives. He holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia and is an Accredited Director through ICSA Canada, currently serving on various boards.

James Madigan

Finance Director

James holds a double degree in Mathematics and Finance from the University of Technology in Sydney Australia. James commenced his career in risk management for one of Australia’s largest banking institutions before moving into private equity where, as a Financial Analyst, he specialized in financial modeling for acquisitions and business planning along with sourcing and structuring financing arrangements.

Since joining Bronte in 2007 James has overseen a period of tremendous growth for Bronte. James’ analytical feasibility skills, financial structuring and prudent investment focus are integral to the operational efficiencies of the Bronte business model.

James Lagan

Director & Founder

James was a successful commercial litigation and corporate attorney having been admitted to practice as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia, the Supreme Court of England and Wales and as an Attorney at Law of the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands. While valuing his legal training, he formed Bronte in 2005 to pursue his passion for real estate investment and property development.

James’ expertise includes site identification and acquisition, negotiation with key stakeholders, legal, capital raising and financial structuring, sales and marketing and most importantly, his commitment to excellence in contemporary architecture and design.

Christina Thomas

Interior Designer

With over 15 years’ experience, delivering some of the most prominent luxury residences and commercial fit-outs within the Cayman Islands, Christina Thomas prides herself on ensuring her designs resonate with the end user and makes the most of a project’s potential.

Her primary focus has been in high end, custom residential, with an emphasis on bespoke millwork and creative interior detailing. Christina maintains creative and focused attention to ensure her projects are elegantly proportioned, harmonious with their environments, and delightful work and living spaces. An exacting commitment to quality is a hallmark of this design firm.

Nick Taylor

Architect

Nick is an Architect with a passion for contemporary design, who is dedicated to producing structures that are functional, beautiful, innovative, with a sophisticated aesthetic. Nick brings to the Bronte pool of knowledge a wealth of experience in high-end residential and commercial projects, with a portfolio of impressive work in Grand Cayman and in Australasia.

Nick holds an honours degree in Architecture from Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand, and has twenty years experience in the architecture industry, including lengthy service at a number of well regarded high-end architect firms in New Zealand and Grand Cayman. Nick joined Bronte because it allows him the freedom to create fantastic architecture, given the high design philosophy guiding all the company’s projects.

Troy Thomas

Business Services Manager

Troy Thomas has 15 years experience with the Cayman Islands Immigration Department where he successfully led teams in investigating and resolving immigration issues. As the Business Services Manager at Bronte, he manages the client and community-facing program areas on all things immigration and compliance related, in addition to assisting with the core business operations.

Troy has had a firsthand opportunity to understand government procedures and protocols and he uses this knowledge to expedite positive results for Bronte clients and development projects.  He has specialised training in Cayman Islands Immigration Law, International Refugee Law, Caribbean Border Enforcement, Immigration and Naturalisation (USA), and Regional Intervention protocols. He is highly confidential and poised with a pleasant and professional demeanour.

Carolyn Maguire

Interior Designer

Carolyn’s passion for design is the driving force behind her ability to provide clients with dynamic and creative design solutions.  She has extensive experience in both commercial and residential design, specializing in hospitality, commercial and multi-residential projects.

Carolyn focuses on truly understanding each project’s uniqueness, and strives to implement innovative design solutions resulting in striking and inspiring spaces. Her extensive knowledge of design, combined with keen attention to detail contribute to her ability to evolve projects from preliminary concept to reality.

Teresa Foster

Sales and Marketing

Teresa has been involved in construction and development, property management and real estate in the Cayman Islands for over 30 years. Having owned and operated her own companies she knows the value of getting to really know and understand her clients. In fact, it’s her primary focus to ensure her client’s needs are met above all else.

Teresa has also lent a significant amount of time giving back to the community by working and volunteering with several not for profit organizations. Living the island life has its perks and investing in the community has it’s own rewards.
